Job title - Operations Manager (full-time).

We are looking for a full-time Operations Manager  to oversee and coordinate the pre-production (planning) and the production (control and supervision) stage at our production studio located in Buknor Isolo, Lagos Nigeria. 

 

Responsibilities. 

  • Plan and draw up weekly production schedules

  • Support the smooth operation of the brand such as organising and tracking projects and tasks

  • Calendaring and email management  

  • Slight bookkeeping and Project coordination 

  • Supervise and manage the work of Artisans

  • Monitor productivity rates and product standards - and implement quality control programmes

  • Assessing project and resource requirements

  • Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and suppliers

  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met

  • Ensure customer orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met

  • Overseeing production processes and adjust schedules as needed

  • Review Artisan's performance and identify training needs.

  • Renegotiating production timescales or schedules as necessary

  • Selecting, ordering and purchasing production materials

  • Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipments

  • Additional tasks as needed.

Requirements 

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisorial experience

  • Strong planning and organisational skills to run the production process effectively

  • Ability to act decisively to solve team or equipment related problems

  • Strong attention to details to ensure high level of quality

  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and clients

  • Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget and at the right time

  • Ability to motivate your team to meet deadlines

 

Salary 

N230,000 starting monthly salary with an opportunity for advancement on an annual review basis.

Location 

Our production studio is located at Buknor Isolo, Lagos Nigeria. We'll prioritise candidates with close living proximity for ease of commuting.
